I'm sittin here in symmetrical time
waiting as though suspended on a line.
At the click of the clock the minutes dance past
tick tock.
More than four centuries ago
others stood in my place
waiting for time to flow.
As I sit in this place
life passes by like a race.
The stars all aligned in the sky
while silent souls wish to fly.
Oh what a historical night
that I am here to witness this sight.
